ENCOURAGING ACTIVE
CREATIVE LIFESTYLES…

Over the last two years the Rotary Club of Wangaratta’s Book Fair has grown from raising $15,000 for community projects in 2017 to raising around $30,000 in 2018. We plan to raise even more in 2019.

Our hardworking committee and volunteers continue to add to our stock of good quality children’s books, unique special interest books, fiction and non fiction books. Additionally through our Five Year Strategic Business Plan we have established the Wang Lit Fest which has extended the Rotary Club of Wangaratta Book Fair to now include:

  • A Young Writers Award
  • The CWA Retro Café
  • A Visiting Writers Program which includes Writing Workshops, Author Talks and Panel Discussions

We have secured free long term under cover book storage thanks to the generosity of the Wangaratta Woolen Mills with access to materials handling equipment from our many ‘Friends of Rotary’.

Our ambitious project still focuses on the key message from the Community…to the Community.

  • Entry and Festival Bag $2.00
  • No books over $5.00 plus all you can fit in your Rotary bag for $50.00
